A little more about me.

Christopher Cornwell - Product Designer

Hi, I'm Chris and I love opportunities to be creative. I like taking problems and creating solutions. When it comes to my projects, I like to recruit users to help me identify problems, work with fellow creatives to find solutions to those problems, and eventually work with developers and engineers to help build those solutions.

Obviously things don't always work out perfectly, so I also pride myself on my ability to adapt to changes in projects, and work effectively with a wide variety of peers. I have experience leading teams but I'm also happy to take direction and let someone else take the lead.

Mount Saint Helens

I'm passionate about more than just creating, though! Some of my other interests include travel, hiking, running, biking, sport, and food.

You'll find me exploring the outdoors at just about every opportunity I get. I'm an avid hiker, and spend many of my summer weekends hiking and camping in the backcountry. In an effort to give back I've also spent time volunteering with Washington Trails Association in providing trail maintenance where it's needed most.

I enjoy sport both as a participant and as a spectator. I love getting in on a pick-up game of basketball, or playing soccer with my rec team. I've been a fan of Seattle sports teams since I was a kid, and love getting out to a game whenever I can. Going out for a run is one of my favorite ways to clear my head, or if the weather is nice I'll hop on my bike and go for a ride.

Masaai Tribe

There's nothing I enjoy more, however, than embedding myself within an un-familiar culture and finding my way. I love seeing how other people live, and challenging my own perceptions on anything from food to ideals. A few of my favorite travel experiences have been observing the wildlife and visiting with the Maasai tribes in Kenya, trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in the Himalayas, and sailing down the Rhine river in Germany. I love wandering local markets and sampling goods whether it be in the wet markets of Ho Chi Minh or the farmer's markets in Freiberg.

A couple of other activities I enjoy are drinking coffee and meeting new people. So, how about we have a chat?
